What is gluten?

Gluten is a type of protein that is regularly found in wheat, rye, barley, and triticale. All of which are very common in our daily food and drinks like bread, pasta, oats, and beer.

It can be found in numerous types of food and drinks, even the ones that we least expect like rice puffs. Most of you think rice puffs are a great alternative to wheat-based cereals. Yes, rice puffs may not contain wheat but they have malt in them.

What is a gluten-free diet?

A gluten-free diet is excluding all types of gluten or gluten-based products in their eating plan. This, of course, includes bread, rice, pasta. etc.

Why go gluten-free?

Well, there are various reasons why a person practices a gluten-free diet. Check them out below:

Celiac disease symptoms include diarrhea or constipation.

Firstly, a gluten-free diet is most crucial to those people diagnosed with celiac disease. It’s an autoimmune disease that damages the small intestine, triggered by gluten. And since scientists have yet to discover the cure for this disease, going gluten-free is utilized as a temporary solution to help these patients manage or relieve their symptoms.

Secondly, a gluten-free diet helps you reduce your gluten sensitivity which is important for those whose bodies react negatively to it.

And lastly, while losing weight is not really a good reason to go gluten-free, it’s a popular choice of a weight-loss diet plan and it actually does help in shedding a few pounds.

Now that you have a good understanding of a gluten-free diet, let’s move forward to what’s in a Ghost Gamer energy drink.

Conclusion

Every ingredient present in the Ghost Gamer formula is generally gluten-free.

It has been claimed by the brand that it is indeed a gluten-free product. And in my observation, I didn’t find any gluten or gluten-based ingredients in it, either.

However, let’s not set aside the possibility of gluten cross-contamination. I doubt one can ever be 100% sure whether the equipment or storage used to produce Ghost Gamer weren’t used on other products that contain small traces of gluten, especially those bits not visible to the naked eye.
