Nutritional Facts of Nau Energy Drink

We’ll dive into these in detail so read on.

Caffeine Content

Nau Energy drink contains no caffeine. This may seem surprising and out of the box for an energy drink but the lack of caffeine in Nau is actually a great benefit.

Caffeine is often known for its benefits such as the stimulation of the central nervous system, heart, muscles, and blood pressure control centers, hence its inclusion in most energy drinks.

When used regularly, caffeine may not raise blood pressure. Taking caffeine can also increase urine flow and act as a water pill. Caffeine treats:

  • Mental alertness
  • Headaches
  • Migraines
  • Athletic performance
  • Memory
  • Obesity

Since caffeine is often included in most drinks, it makes it a lot likelier to overconsume which can lead to a caffeine overdose.

These can have negative side effects such as:

  • Anxiety
  • Sleeplessness
  • Irritability
  • Indigestion
  • Tremors
  • High Blood Pressure

Without any caffeine in Nau, you can safely enjoy the drink without worrying about overconsuming caffeine.

Don’t worry about the boost as Nau has got this covered with other natural ingredients so you’ll still have the energy to keep playing for long hours.

Does Nau Energy Drink have Sugar?

There is no sugar in Nau energy drinks.

There is no sugar in NAU energy drink

Sugar is yet another exclusion in this drink which is another benefit of Nau! Sugar is often added in excess in most food and drinks which can lead to:

  • weight gain
  • increased risk of heart disease
  • type 2 diabetes
  • high blood pressure
  • fatty liver disease

Sugar consumption should not exceed 10% of total calories, as recommended in the guidelines. If 2,000 calories are consumed per day, sugar should not account for more than 200 calories.

When you drink energy drinks, the caffeine and sugar spike your energy and blood sugar levels, but eventually, you’ll feel drained and tired. Your energy levels are unlikely to be optimal during a study session or during an exam, making it hard to focus.

Cranberry Extract

In North America, cranberry shrubs grow in bogs. The fruit contains salicylic acid and is a dark red color.

The chemicals in cranberries prevent the lining of the urinary tract from being infected by bacteria. These treatments do not rid these cells of bacteria that have already attached themselves to them.

Cranberries are frequently used to prevent urinary tract infections.

Other uses for cranberries include:

  • kidney stones
  • enlarged prostate
  • common cold

A significant number of medical conditions have been treated with this drug, so its inclusion in the drink is definitely a benefit you’ll want to have.

Cranberry extract can be helpful for urinary tract infections which is an infection of the kidney bladder or urethra. Certain cranberry products can prevent UTIs in adults who take them by mouth.

Children and the elderly may also benefit from it. Further consumption such as oral cranberry pills should be discussed beforehand with a medical professional.

Pyridoxine

Pyridoxine is best known as Vitamin B6. The body requires vitamin B6 to function properly when it comes to sugars, fats, and proteins. A variety of body parts, including the brain, nerves, and skin, depend on it.

It’s often found in:

  • cereals
  • legumes
  • eggs

Often found in vitamin B complex products along with other B vitamins, it’s also commonly used to treat and prevent vitamin B6 deficiency. Other uses include:

  • heart disease
  • premenstrual syndrome (PMS)
  • Depression
  • morning sickness
  • Alzheimer disease
  • menstrual cramps
  • Diabetes

As long as it is used correctly, vitamin B6 is likely to be safe. 1.3 to 1.5 mg is of vitamin B6 daily is generally considered to be safe.

However, be warned that some people experience nausea, headaches, and migraines when consuming certain amounts of this vitamin. If you’re taking other medication, it’s best to consult with your doctor.

Taking more than 500 mg of vitamin B6 daily may be unsafe. Taking a lot of vitamin B6 can cause problems with the brain and nerves, especially if you take more than 1000 mg a day.

Tricalcium Phosphate

Calcium phosphates, in the form of tricalcium phosphate, are used to prevent or treat calcium deficiency.

This ingredient is often used for bones and teeth to store calcium in the body. Calcium is essential for the growth and development of bones in children and adolescents. Strong, healthy bones and teeth are essential for adults as well.

Among the foods high in calcium are dairy products, nuts, seeds, and dark, leafy vegetables.

Tricalcium phosphate is also used as an anti-caking agent in powdered foods, in addition to its ability to act as a supplement. Some processed foods use it as an additive to increase calcium content.

A calcium deficiency can be characterized by:

  • Muscle cramps and spasms
  • Tingling in the hands and feet
  • Memory difficulty
  • Brittle nails and bones

In the long run, this ingredient can be clearly beneficial for your needs especially if you don’t often consume calcium-rich foods.

Can You Drink Nau Energy Drink Everyday?

Different Flavors of NAU energy drink

Definitely! It’s best that you should be aware of the cons of Nau Energy Drink since it can be consumed daily.

If you consume the drink every day, you will always feel energized. There will be no problem with sugar or calories as Nau doesn’t contain both of them.

Nonetheless, it’s best to consume this in moderation. Although this doesn’t contain caffeine or sugar, it contains vitamins that are recommended only in moderated amounts so it’s best to regulate your drinking.

How much Nau Energy can you drink in a day?

The Nau Energy drink can be consumed up to two times a day maximum.

My personal recommendation is to take only one serving a day to avoid side effects. If you find that you need more of a boost, half a serving could work. See how your body responds to that before adding further.

Additionally, I am opposed to going over this limit. You will already be putting your health at risk due to the extracts and acidic contents contained in its ingredients.

When can you drink Nau Energy Drink?

Nau Energy Drink is a great beverage to drink first thing in the morning or before you begin your day’s activities.

Drinking the drink is usually not a problem. Start your day with it to achieve the best results. Have it with breakfast for optimum results.

Alternatives include consuming Nau 15 to 20 minutes before your activity. Energy boosters typically need to be consumed 15 to 20 minutes before exercise. Therefore, doing so will ensure you get the most energy-boosting effects out of the drink.

However, do not take this if you don’t have anything due late in the afternoon or night. You may experience a ruined body clock and sleep difficulties as a result.

Who can consume Nau Energy Drink?

Children should avoid energy drinks in general

Drinking Nau energy drink will have more benefits than drawbacks if you are sure you don’t have any health issues. The same goes for those who react well to sugar-free drinks.

If you belong to any of the following, you should avoid this drink:

  • Children and teens under 18
  • Pregnant and nursing women
  • People with underlying medical conditions
  • People with existing medical disorders

You can also check the ingredient list to see if this energy drink is suitable for you. If you do this, you’ll know whether you should seek out anything that might cause an allergic reaction.

Conclusion

NAU Energy was designed for those who strive to exceed expectations and are in need of a little push in order to achieve that. Life gets busy, we get that.

You can’t do everything at once, including school, work, family, exercise, and socializing.  It was designed specifically for people like that.  There are those who have been successful in their lives but still desire more.

Unlike sugary energy drinks, this is not going to leave you crashing out. Upon closer inspection, you can see that the NAU Energy Drink contains no sugar or calories like those laden with sugar for a temporary rush. Although sugar may create a temporary surge of energy, it will eventually wear off.
