Sneak Energy Review (Everything you need to know)

Sneak Energy has been in the energy drink industry not too long ago but it has already brought in massive support from both gamers and athletes.

Does that mean Sneak Energy is an effective energy drink? You’re about to find out because I’ll be revealing to you my honest-to-goodness review about Sneak Energy Drink.

I’ve had my own little journey on Sneak Energy drink and I must say the experience was a hard 7/10. Some flavors were a hit, some were a miss. I’ll tell you more about that in a while. The energy boost was definitely felt but I don’t see anything extraordinary about them. The price point is a bit of a snag to me, both the pricing of the drinks, and the shipping. I know brands where I can get the same results and features as Sneak Energy’s but are more affordable.

What is Sneak Energy?

Started in the UK in 2018, Sneak Energy is an energy drink brand that’s created with gamers in mind. It takes pride in having a low-calorie, zero-sugar formula in the drink. Apart from that, the energy drink is loaded with vitamins and minerals, and amino acids.

Its claims include increasing your energy, boosting your mental focus, and alertness so you can perform your best in every game.

Sneak Energy Drink currently offers 12 delicious flavors for you to choose from. These are available in powder form and cans.

This makes Sneak Energy a great option if you’re trying to lose weight or you’re simply on a low-calorie diet. With its low-calorie count, you can consume Sneak Energy and still have an allowance for calorie consumption from your favorite meals.

Sugar in Sneak Energy

It’s a relief that Sneak Energy is sugar-free. This crosses off the risk of diabetes from drinking this energy drink daily.

This also means that you won’t experience crashing from sugar, which is common with sugar-loaded energy drinks. If you’re looking to be warier, you can read more about the sugar-crash, also known as Hypoglycemia, here.

It’s also important to note that even though Sneak Energy is sugar-free, it does contain artificial sweeteners. These are Sucralose and Acesulfame K. According to research, both of these compounds are legal and permitted to use as sweeteners in food by the FDA.

These artificial sweeteners are safe for consumption when taken in moderation. Those conscious of sugar can take advantage of Sucralose and Acesulfame K as alternatives. With these, you can watch your weight without sacrificing taste as both are a hundred times sweeter than table sugar.

Caffeine in Sneak Energy

A serving of Sneak Energy contains 150mg of caffeine, that’s equivalent to 2 cups of espresso.

Aside from coffee beans, tea leaves are also a great source of caffeine.

Personally, I prefer 100mg to 250mg of caffeine per day to get me through the day. It’s also the amount I like for my body to function at its best and Sneak Energy definitely fits that category.

However, for those with caffeine intolerance, 150mg of caffeine might be too much. I suggest that you take in half the serving of Sneak Energy just to get a feel of it, then increase your intake to a whole sachet the next day if you think your body is ready to handle such a dose. You can build it up or stay with half depending on how you feel about it.

According to the FDA, the recommended daily intake of caffeine is up to 400mg. Anything more than that may result in caffeine overdose. Limit your Sneak Energy intake to two servings a day at most.

Sneak Energy Flavor Reviews

I was able to get my hands on a few flavors from Sneak Energy. Here’s what I think about them:

Tropikilla

This flavor is very tasty for its strong notes of both mango and pineapple. It’s great to have but it’s not as exciting as the other flavors. In terms of boosting your energy, this one has the strongest punch among the rest of the favors I’ve tried. Great on days I work out.

Cherry Bomb

I heard way back that this flavor is the brand’s best-seller and after trying it, I completely understand why. I did find the mixture a bit difficult to dissolve, but it’s a minor drawback to the delicious flavor. This gave me a good amount of boost, nothing too exciting but just the fair average.

Sour Apple

This flavor tastes pretty much what you expect from a sour apple, but there’s really nothing selling it. It’s fairly decent for a drink although I probably wouldn’t fight anyone for the last of it. Similar energy boost as the other flavors but for its flavor, I probably wouldn’t be reaching for it.

Blue Raspberry

This was by far my favorite purchase from Sneak Energy. This became the standard in which all the drinks that followed were measured. It’s a really good flavor and was ingested almost immediately after the first sip. The boost it gave me was similar to every other flavor but the taste is definitely a plus.

These four were the only flavors I have tried so far. If you want a review of every flavor, here’s a great video to watch:

Note: 1 serving = sachet (10g)

Sneak Energy’s bundle prices sound quite reasonable to me than buying it per sachet. In comparison to other energy drinks, Sneak Energy is a bit on the higher end of cost. Both X-Gamer and G Fuel play around the $35 price for their tubs, going even lower for Amazon and Walmart sold products.

If it’s the first time you’re trying Sneak Energy and are still experimenting with energy drinks, I’d definitely recommend starting with the Taster Pack, where you’ll get to try six different flavors of your choice. That should be enough for you to get a good feel of Sneak Energy. From there you can decide whether to order another set or ditch it forever.

Now, if you liked your experience with the taster pack, and happens to be a hardcore gamer, the tub is the better option. You get maximum benefits at the cheapest price. I personally think that what Sneak can offer me, I can find with other energy drinks.

Ordering Experience

Beyond its flavors, the process of ordering the drink wasn’t all that difficult. Their website was very easy to navigate and I had no trouble at all looking for the flavors I wanted.

What was unpleasant, however, was the amount of shipping I had to pay which was about the same as my total of four sachets of different flavors. For some of the flavors, its price was already hardly justified, and having to pay for the shipping almost the same amount was somewhat outrageous.

Shipping cost for Australia

The package itself didn’t take too long to arrive so I’d say the wait is fairly average. Enough to keep you excited, not too long you’d consider trashing the whole thing. Overall, with the user-friendly interface of the website and the availability of their flavors, the ordering experience was decent. The only bone I’d pick is with their shipping rates.

Where can you buy Sneak Energy?

As of current, Sneak Energy is only sold online, on their official website.

Sneak Energy is not available in stores, or on other eCommerce websites except for the Sneak Energy website. This unavailability can be quite difficult. Although Sneak Energy is expanding its shipping range, other eCommerce sites would be much more accessible for a wider audience.

Other energy drink brands have utilized websites like Amazon to keep their product within reach. I’ve got a helpful article that can give you more detailed information on this.

When to drink Sneak Energy?

Just like any other energy drink, it’s best to drink it in the morning, or when you’re about to do an activity that will require immense physical or mental energy and focus such as sports training or gaming.

Caffeine may interfere with the quality of your sleep so I recommend that you avoid drinking Sneak Energy six hours before bedtime. After all, you won’t be needing energy when you go to bed.

How many servings can I drink in a day?

You can drink two servings of Sneak Energy at most.

Let’s study this table to make sure you’re not exceeding the recommended daily consumption per nutrient:

Total of 2 servings a dayRecommended Daily IntakeDid you exceed?

As stated in the comparison table, you won’t exceed your recommended daily intake with two servings a day of Sneak Energy.

Therefore, you’re good to consume 2 servings a day of Sneak Energy drink.

Who cant drink Sneak Energy?

Sneak Energy is not safe for pregnant, nursing, and people with medical conditions.

If you’re pregnant or nursing, Sneak Energy is not for you. This applies to healthy adults who don’t have medical conditions and are not pregnant or nursing. Also, you might want to limit your intake to only one serving if you have slow caffeine metabolism. Moderate consumption is always the key.

Final Thoughts

I would rate Sneak Energy Drink 7 out of 10. I have to agree that Sneak Energy is one of the hottest energy drink brands in the market today but I’ve had better.

What I appreciate the most about Sneak Energy is its transparency in its ingredients. Unlike other brands, Sneak Energy gives all the information you want about its ingredients along with their numbers so you would know how much of them you’re getting per consumption.

Sneak Energy is well-formulated, in my opinion, and it’s been true to its claims of enhancing your physical and mental functions so you can deliver high performance especially in gaming.

The tub packaging looks like it was designed for success. I can already feel the energy just by looking at it and in my experience, comes through well enough. But, the sachet, I find it lousy. It’s quite difficult to tear open so some powder could come spilling. Sneak Energy could use some improvement on that.

Another thing the brand can improve on is the price point. Sneak Energy’s price can still be competitive without going for US$40 a tub. There are a lot of huge brands out there that are more affordable that can work just the same.

All-in-all, Sneak Energy is a decent energy drink. I see myself buying a tub of it and maybe a few more backups in the future.
