I know it can be easy to get lost in nutrition fact labels, especially if the substances present are written in their chemical names, so I hope this table was helpful.

Now that you’ve had a better understanding of nutrients found in Sneak Energy, let’s dig deeper into the ingredients.

Sneak Energy List of Ingredients

Sneak Energy drink takes pride in its ingredients that are divided into three groups: Sneak Focus, Sneak Hydrate, Sheak Hydrate. Let’s unpack them!

Sneak Energy Drink found on the back of their 10g sachet.

Sneak Focus (1,951mg)

  • L Tyrosine
  • Caffeine
  • L Theanine
  • L Choline Bitartrate
  • L Carnitine
  • Riboflavin
  • Panthothenic Acid
  • Biotin

Based on its ingredients, Sneak Focus is packed with vitamins and minerals that pay special attention to your cognitive function.

Amongst the list is tyrosine, which can help boost your neurological function. This amino acid makes its rounds in medicine for ADHD, ADD, and narcolepsy, all of which have to do with the struggle to stay focused.

Caffeine is also present, another ingredient that boosts concentration and, as you’ve heard me say countless times before, provides the body stimulation that keeps you awake and alert.

Similar to caffeine is the function of L Theanine. This ingredient is present in green tea and hold the same function as caffeine, lessening your anxiety and leaving you focused and relaxed.

One most noteworthy is L Choline Bitartrate which is famously regarded as one of the few nutrients that can enhance cognitive function. L Choline Bitartrate itself contains other nutrients such as tyrosine which boosts the function of neurotransmitters in the brain making your cognition perform at its best.

L Carnitine is another amino acid present in the ingredient list. This amino acid helps the production of nitric oxide which can reduce your fatigue and leave you focused for a longer period of time.

There’s riboflavin which helps proficiently convert food into energy. When food is converted with ease, the nutrients it contains make it to their respective organs which in turn perform their respective functions smoothly.

To complete the Sneak Focus is biotin (vitamin B-) and Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5). Both vitamins assist the body in metabolizing fats, protein, and carbohydrates. An efficient metabolism on three energy-inducing nutrients can help supplement the body better.

Sneak Hydrate (1,693mg)

  • Sodium
  • Potassium
  • Magnesium
  • Calcium

Sneak Hydrate consists of vitamins and minerals that are helpful in the overall function of the body.

Although sodium often receives heat in health discussions, it’s often overlooked that your body produces sodium naturally, and it’s guided production is beneficial. Similar to magnesium, it assists with blood pressure regulation, as well as assisting the function of both muscles and nerves.

Specifically for hydration, potassium is present to help regulate water retention. Being an electrolyte, potassium serves to function the body from digestion to nerve impulses, and even to balance out your pH levels.

There’s magnesium which helps the regulation of blood pressure, and develops muscle function. Magnesium is an often suggested supplement as magnesium deficiency is a serious health condition which only further portrays the benefit of its addition in Sneak Energy. A lack of magnesium can result to:

  • nausea
  • vomiting
  • loss of appetite
  • fatigue

As you may already know, calcium exists to improve overall bone health. Beyond that, your heart, muscles, and entire nervous system makes use of calcium for its function.

Sneak Drive (1,290mg)

  • Taurine
  • Vitamin C
  • Nicotinamide
  • Vitamin B6
  • Thiamin
  • Folic Acid
  • Vitamin B12

Sneak Drive focuses on vitamins and minerals that assist the overall production of necessary cells that improve the body’s function.

Taurine is an amino acid that’s crucial for nerve growth, and plays an important role in the function of your heart and brain. The amino acid also serves its function in supporting the immune system.

There are Vitamins B12, B6, and C which perform similarly, helping the production of blood cells, nerves, and enzymes that are vital to your body’s function. These vitamins are amongst the vitamins that your body won’t produce naturally, so their inclusion in Sneak Energy is a flavorful way to ensure your intake of these.

Nicotinamide, also referred to as niacinamide, is a form of vitamin B3 that is beneficial in the function and growth of the body’s cells. It helps repair damaged DNA which can be crucial for cases such as skin cancer.

Vitamin B1, or thiamin, is a vitamin naturally found in foods you may already be eating, such as whole grains, nuts, and peas. This vitamin plays similar roles as aforementioned vitamins, with function that focuses on metabolism and therefore the production, growth, and overall development of cells.

Folic acid functions almost similarly, except this vitamin B9 focuses on the healthy production and development of red blood cells in your body. This is also a vitamin commonly used to treat arthritis and psoriasis.

Other Ingredients of Sneak Energy

IngredientUse
Malic Acidregulates acidity level
Maltodextrinpreservative
Natural flavorsfor flavoring and taste
Sucralose and Acesulfame Kartificial sweeteners
Turmeric and Spirulina powdercolors
Silicon Dioxidethickener
Other ingredients of Sneak Energy and their purpose.

All of these ingredients came in last on the ingredients list found on the back of the Sneak Energy sachet. This means that these are the substances that have practical use in the formulation of the drink in contrast to providing a nutritional benefit.

Let me give you some insight on ingredients that you might raise a brow at:

Sucralose and Acesulfame K

These two are the chemicals responsible for making Sneak Energy drink tastes sweet. Yes, they are artificial sweeteners.

Sucralose is 200 times sweeter than table sugar. Despite being a high-intensity sweetener, there are over 113 safety studies that prove sucralose to be safe for human consumption, provided it is used in small amounts.

Acesulfame K, on the other hand, is 200 times sweeter than sucrose (table sugar). It’s a common thing to hear that artificial sweeteners are toxic but not Acesulfame K. This food additive is legal under the “Sweeteners in Food Regulations 1983.

Silicone Dioxide

Silicone Dioxide is a recognized food additive by the European Union. This is commonly used as an anticaking agent to prevent the clumping of powdered mixes, such as seasoning, coffee whiteners, and of course, energy drink powders. It’s easy to believe that it’s toxic without reading facts, but many studies have proven that Silicone Dioxide is a highly functional and viable food additive.

Caffeine in Sneak Energy

A 10g sachet of Sneak Energy drink powder contains 150mg of caffeine.

Coffee beans are a great source of caffeine.

Caffeine is a natural stimulant that has been used worldwide for many years. It is commonly found in your coffee, tea, and soft drinks, which you likely consume every day.

A study on how caffeine affects human behavior stated that when caffeine is consumed moderately, it helps boost your alertness and reduce your fatigue. It also helps you perform tasks vigilantly and have better mental focus.

On the flip side, caffeine also has some drawbacks. Too much of it can cause caffeine overdose. Here are the signs that indicate you’re overdosing on caffeine:

  • Difficulty in breathing
  • Confusion
  • Hallucinations
  • Convulsions
  • Palpitations
  • Increase heartbeat rate
  • Insomnia
  • Anxiety

Just make sure to not exceed the recommended daily intake and you should be fine. That leads us to the question “How much caffeine can you consume every day?”

According to research, a healthy adult can safely consume up to 450mg of caffeine per day. With attention to these limitations, you won’t have to worry about any health complications.

Sneak Energy contains 150mg per 300ml drink, which is quite normal for an energy drink. This means consuming two to three sachets of Sneak Energy is safe as its well within the consumption limit.

Though before deciding on your intake, it’s important that you pay attention to your body’s caffeine metabolism as it usually varies per person. It’s likely that what works for others will not necessarily work for you. I personally find a packet a day is enough, which suits my preferred daily caffeine intake of 100mg to 250mg.

Is Sneak Energy sugar-free?

All Sneak Energy drinks are a hundred percent sugar-free.

As noted a while ago, Sneak Energy contains artificial sweeteners as a healthier alternative to sugar.

Your sweet tooth can still be satisfied by this drink because the artificial sweeteners used are a hundred times sweeter than table sugar. This makes Sneak Energy perfect if you’re trying to lose weight and are aiming to be overall healthier by steering clear of sugar.

There is nothing to worry about the use of alternative sweeteners in Sneak Energy because:

(1) the substances used (Sucralose and Acesulfame K) are legal and tested to be safe for human consumption.

(2) only small amounts are used in the mix. In fact, they appeared last on the ingredients list found on the back of the sachet.

Is Sneak Energy vegan?

Vegans do not consume meat, fish, eggs, cheese, etc.

Yes, Sneak Energy products are vegan and vegetarian-friendly.

“All Sneak products are now Vegan friendly!”

Sneak Energy

Caffeine, Taurine, L-carnitine, and the rest of the ingredients found in Sneak Energy have abstained from animals products and byproducts.

Is Sneak Energy gluten-free?

From my knowledge, I don’t see any gluten products on the ingredients listed. However, the brand itself hasn’t confirmed whether its products are gluten-free or not. No “gluten-free” label is found on their packaging either.

Due to the lack of information, I can’t recommend Sneak Energy if you’re on a gluten-free diet, especially if you’re diagnosed with celiac disease which is an illness that should be taken very seriously, not to mention its cure hasn’t been found yet.

Another thing to consider is cross-contamination. Regardless of whether Sneak Energy products are gluten-free or not, cross-contamination is still a possibility. This mostly happens in facilities sharing machines and storage that were used with gluten-based products.

Therefore, even if I don’t see any gluten-based ingredients in Sneak Energy, cross-contamination is still possible which makes them, or any energy drinks, NOT guaranteed to be hundred percent gluten-free.

So can you drink Sneak Energy everyday?

I don’t see why not.

Their formula is pretty favorable to me. It’s sugar-free, low in calories, and caffeine level is within the recommended limit, plus it’s vegan. It is rich in vitamins and minerals that can boost your daily performance. So yes, you can drink Sneak Energy drink every day.

Just remember to limit yourself to the daily recommended intake and you should be fine.

The 150mg of caffeine is a pretty average caffeine content for an energy drink but if you’re highly sensitivity to caffeine, it’s best to limit your consumption.
